Draft for club review · October 16, 2026
These proposed policies are not legal advice and are not final until reviewed and approved by the club.
What this policy covers
This proposed policy describes privacy considerations for the Orange Coast Lariats public website. The site shares club information, photos, and learning links; it does not currently offer website accounts, online payments, or an online registration form. Separate membership or event records are outside this website policy.
When you contact us
If you email or call the club, you choose what information to share, such as your name, contact details, and questions. The proposed club practice is to use that information to reply and coordinate your visit, and to share it only with people helping handle your request or where legally required.
Please do not send medical records or sensitive health details through ordinary email. If you need to discuss participation or accessibility, ask the club how best to do so.
Technical information and service providers
Website hosting and content-delivery services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser, requested pages, and access times to deliver the site, maintain security, and diagnose errors. The exact logging, retention, and any hosting-level analytics must be confirmed with the service providers before this draft is finalized.
The website code does not currently add advertising trackers or a club-operated analytics tool. This is not a guarantee that hosting or third-party services collect no data.
Google Maps, fonts, and cookies
The Contact Us page includes a Google Maps embed, and the site loads fonts from Google. When these resources load, your browser connects to Google, which may receive technical information and use cookies or similar technologies under its own policies.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings; restricting them may affect outside services. Read Google’s Privacy Policy for its practices.
Outside lessons and links
Lesson websites, YouTube, and other linked services have their own privacy policies. Learn the Calls opens outside lesson pages in separate tabs rather than embedding video players here. Once you follow a link, the destination website controls the information it collects.
Club photos
The Gallery and other pages show photos of club activities, including identifiable dancers. If a photo of you raises a privacy concern, contact the club with the page link and a description of the photo to request review or removal. Publishing a photo here does not grant permission for others to reuse it.
Your information and requests
You may contact the club to ask about information you have provided, request a correction, or request deletion. The club may need to verify the request and explain any information it must retain for legal or administrative reasons. Please avoid sending identity documents unless a secure method is arranged.
Before adopting this policy, the club should confirm its actual information-sharing practices, retention periods, and how it will handle privacy requests. Any rights required by applicable law remain in place.
Children’s privacy
The site is a public club information resource, not an online service designed to collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child’s personal information was shared with the club through this site, please contact the club so the situation can be reviewed.
Policy updates
When this draft is approved, the club will post an effective date. Material changes to the website’s information practices should be reflected in an updated policy.
